No installation required. Herd Manager is a web-based platform that runs in any modern browser — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Open your browser, go to the website, log in, and you are ready. It also works on your mobile phone without installing any app.

Basic setup — adding your sheds, pens, and first animals — takes a few hours for most farms. For farms with large existing records, we offer Excel bulk import so you can upload your current animal list at once. Professional and Enterprise subscribers also get hands-on onboarding support from our team.

Yes. Herd Manager supports Excel bulk import for milk records and animal data. If you have records in a spreadsheet or another system, contact our team and we will help you migrate your data so you don't have to start from scratch.

An internet connection is required to sync and access your data from anywhere. However, the platform is optimized for low-bandwidth connections commonly found in rural Pakistan. Basic data entry works smoothly even on a slow 3G connection.

You record heat observations and AI (artificial insemination) events for each animal. The system automatically calculates expected pregnancy confirmation dates, monitors pregnancy status, and alerts you to upcoming calvings. It tracks full breeding history for each cow including insemination dates, bull/semen used, and conception rates.

You can record milk production for the whole herd in a single table view — enter morning and evening yields for each animal. The system automatically calculates daily totals, generates lactation curves, tracks production trends, and generates production reports. You can also import milk data from Excel for farms with existing digital records.

The AI Farm Assistant is powered by DeepSeek AI and has full access to your farm data. You can ask it questions in plain language — "Which cows are due for vaccination?", "What is my best performing cow this month?", "Suggest a feed ration for high-producing cows" — and it responds with intelligent, data-driven answers specific to your farm.

Yes. Most reports can be exported to Excel or PDF directly from the platform. This includes milk production reports, health activity reports, financial summaries, breeding records, and stock ledgers. Your data is always yours to download.

The ET module is designed for advanced breeding operations and farms offering embryo transfer services. It covers the full ET workflow: donor and recipient animal management, OPU (ovum pick-up) sessions, embryo lab records, embryo inventory, transfer records, ET pregnancy monitoring, ET calving, client billing, and invoicing. This is available on the Enterprise plan.

Yes. The Starter plan is completely free and includes milk recording, basic health tracking, and up to 20 animals. You can use it indefinitely with no credit card required. To access the full feature set — breeding management, financial accounts, AI assistant, and more — you upgrade to the Professional plan.

We accept bank transfer, Easypaisa, JazzCash, and other local payment methods. All subscriptions are arranged directly with our team — contact us on WhatsApp or email to set up your subscription and we will send you payment details in PKR.

Yes, you can cancel at any time by contacting our team. Your account will remain active until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months, but we will never charge you after you cancel.

Absolutely. Contact our team and we will adjust your plan with no data loss. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period.

Yes. We have special pricing for dairy cooperatives, NGOs, veterinary colleges, government agricultural departments, and institutions managing multiple farms. Contact us to discuss your requirements and we will create a custom arrangement.

You do. Your farm data belongs to you at all times. We never sell, share, or use your data for any purpose other than running the platform for you. You can request a full data export at any time.

Yes. Your data is automatically backed up on our servers. In the unlikely event of a system issue, we can restore your data. We recommend also regularly exporting key reports to Excel as an additional personal backup.

Your data remains accessible for 30 days after cancellation so you can export everything you need. After that, your data is securely deleted from our servers. We will notify you before deletion so you have time to download your records.

Contact our team to discuss multi-user access for your farm. We can configure your account so that farm workers, veterinarians, and managers each have appropriate access. Enterprise plans include full user management capabilities.

Yes. Herd Manager is fully responsive and works on any mobile phone browser without installing anything. A dedicated native mobile app is also available — contact us for access details. The mobile version supports all core features including milk recording, health events, and AI assistant.

Absolutely. The platform is designed for use in the field. The milk recording interface is especially optimized for quick mobile entry — you can record yields for the whole herd while walking through the barn. The screen layout adapts automatically to small screens.

Yes. Professional and Enterprise subscribers receive onboarding training sessions with our team. We walk you and your farm staff through every feature relevant to your operation. For basic users, our support team is available on WhatsApp to answer any how-to questions.

Yes. Our support team is fully bilingual — you can contact us in Urdu or English on WhatsApp and we will respond in your preferred language. We understand that not all farmers are comfortable communicating in English.
